UHStat2

UHSTAT2 is a mandatory online form for graduates of universities, university colleges of teacher education, and private higher education institutions. It is used to collect data on study-related stays abroad and is evaluated by Statistics Austria for the national education statistics.

Confirmation of completion of the form is a prerequisite for the issuance of your graduation documents.

Why do I have to complete this form?

Graduates are required, under a regulation issued by the Federal Minister of Science and Research (see legal basis), to complete an online survey on their study-related stays abroad. Confirmation that the form has been completed is required for the issuance of graduation documents.

Data on study-related stays abroad of graduates from post-secondary education institutions are included in the national education statistics compiled by Statistics Austria.

What information do I need to have ready?

How many study-related stays abroad have I completed?
How many of these were shorter than two weeks, how many lasted up to one month, and how many were longer?
Did I complete most of them within the European Union?
For the three longest stays abroad lasting more than one month, additional details are requested:
- Destination country
- ECTS credits earned and recognised
- Mobility programme (EU programme or other)
- Purpose
- Funding

Will I receive a confirmation after completing the form?

Yes, you will receive a confirmation by email. Please keep it safe, as you may need to present it to your university or higher education institution.
